INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT AND MARKETING (IMM)

This program is designed to help students understand how to manage businesses and market products beyond domestic boundaries. It prepares students to gain insight into the global economy and create and successfully implement global marketing strategies. Students pursuing this Emphasis will learn about issues associated with international marketing and brands and brand management.

HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP (HCML)

This program is designed to prepare students for careers in the fields of managed care supervision, patient care management, health care services manager, regulatory analysis, and resource specialist. Students pursuing this Emphasis will learn about leadership skills in healthcare management, healthcare economics, healthcare information systems, and the ethics of healthcare.

INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT (ISKM)

This program is designed to prepare students for careers in the fields of configuration management, server administration, knowledge management, business systems analysis, and control systems management. Students pursuing this Emphasis will learn about information technology, knowledge management, information security, and information systems.

INTERNET MARKETING AND E-BUSINESS (IMEB)

This program trains students in the fundamentals of Internet marketing and e-business and e-commerce. Students are trained on all the possible avenues for internet marketing like content and email marketing strategies, search engine optimization tips and lead and sales conversion methods and how e-business planning finds place into the company’s planning process. Students pursuing this Emphasis will be up-to-date with training in wireless i-marketing, webvertising and i-marketing through context, etc.

BANKING AND FINANCE (BF)

This program is designed to prepare students for careers in the fields of accounts management, audit analysis, financial controlling, personal financial advisement, credit specialist, treasurer, and trade control analysis. Students pursuing this Emphasis will learn about commercial banking, capital markets, entrepreneurial finance, and international financial management.

ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND HRM (ODHRM)

This program is designed to prepare students for careers in the fields of learning and development management, human resource management, business development management, organizational effectiveness consulting, and personnel training management. Students pursuing this Emphasis will learn about organizational development, leadership and development, international organization behavior, and enterprise resource management.

PROJECT AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT (PQM)       ^{endorsed by}

This program is designed to prepare students for entry level careers in the fields of total quality management, project management, project controlling, business analyst, quality control management, and project implementation management. Students pursuing this Emphasis will learn about IT project management, human factors and team management dynamics, quality design for Six Sigma, and total quality management.

Politics and Public Management (PPM)

This program is designed to prepare students for careers in the fields of public work, state and federal administration, public management/organization specialist, public financial consultant, civic and urban control systems management. Students pursuing this Emphasis will learn about public administration, local, state and federal laws, urban and civic planning and public finance. Individuals with interest in state, city and urban development and are looking for a career in public management will benefit from this Emphasis.

Hollywood Business and Entertainment Management (HEM)

This program is designed to prepare students for careers in the business fields of entertainment, public relations, media promotion, marketing and distribution, talent search, management and organization, entertainment production, capitalization and financing, and artist management. Students pursing this Emphasis will learn about the business of the entertainment industry, the ins-and-out of media management, budgeting and financial management of special projects, and representation and/or managing celebrities. Individuals with interest in entertainment work, movie and media industry will much benefit from this Emphasis.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

This program is designed to prepare students for careers in the fields of business unit management, venture analysis, business relations management, business development consulting, business broker, and business banker. Students pursuing this Emphasis will learn about new venture creation, international entrepreneurship, strategic and small business entrepreneurship and economic principles of entrepreneurship.
