How do I become a student at California University of Technology?
Please select the apply now button at the left side of this page.  Once you submit an application, you will be contacted by a representative of Calu.  They will personally assist you through the application process and ensure that any questions you have will be answered.   Once all required information has been gathered and your application fee has been accepted,you should receive a letter in the mail stating your conditional acceptance to CalU.

How do I register for a course?
Once you have applied and have been accepted as a student, your academic advisor will send a program matrix for you. After selecting the mode of delivery you prefer, either FLEXilearn or RAPID, and then you will receive your course materials or your password to register online at the CalU Learn Center.

When can I enroll?
Our courses run nearly year round.  So our students have the convenience of enrolling at any time during the year.

Can I get credit for life and work experience?
Yes, you may be able to receive course credit for life and work experience that you have achieved.  In order to receive course credit for life or work experience, you will have to submit all required supporting forms, documents and applications to Calu.  Each assessment will be conducted on a case by case basis and the amount of credit, if any, will be determined by the discretion of CalU and its academic advisors.

Can I transfer courses from other schools?
Yes, we accept transfer credits from approved schools and accredited institutions. The university’s admission decisions for transfer credits will be determined by an academic advisor and will be based on several competitive and transfer factors. The course to be transferred must directly compare to a CalUniversity course in order to be applied to your program.

Is it entirely distance education?
The programs are offered entirely through distance education. You can read our program delivery methodology to choose the method that fits you the best.

How do I submit my assignments?
You can submit the assignments online through the CalU Learn Center either as Microsoft Word, or a Zip file or a PDF. The faculty would review, evaluate and send them back you. FlexiLearn learn students can mail, email, or fax the assignments directly to us.

Will I have to come to the campus to complete the exams?
No, it is not required. The exams are conducted online through CalU Exam Center if you are enrolled in RAPID. For the FLEXilearn program, you will mail, email, or FAX the exam to the university. The Final Exam is taken online for both of our programs.

How much will my tuition be?
Tuitions depend on the program you choose. Please check our tuition and fees to know exactly the cost of the programs and any additional fees you may incur.

Does CALU offer financial aid?
No, CalUniversity does not offer financial aid at this time. Please see our payment options to assist you. CalUniversity offers excellent scholarship and fellowship programs.

How long will it take to complete my degree?
